Day 007 of 147 Learning Watercolor: Crab(?)

Clocked in 1 hour.

Practiced a lot of leaves, but we’ll skip sharing that.

I initially painted the carapace from memory of a crab, then I had to search for a picture to see how many legs total: FYI usually 8 walking legs and 2 pincers.

The legs on the left side are a little bit wobbly; probably because I am right-handed and didn’t know how to control the brush while painting segments of the leg from right to left, right to left branching from the carapace.
